Position Overview:
Webcodio is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring optimal website functionality, and delivering high-quality, innovative web solutions for our clients. This role requires expertise in WordPress development, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand project requirements, goals, and design specifications.
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance across devices.
Modify existing themes and plugins to meet specific client needs, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix code errors and improve overall website performance.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies, integrating innovative solutions into projects.
Provide technical support to clients, addressing WordPress-related queries and issues promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate closely with the System Administrator and other team members to ensure seamless website hosting and server-side operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with front-end frameworks and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress development.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred).
